Safe landing

It was 25th december 6.30 pm, I landed in Dulles International Airport, Washington. D.C. I was not only carrying tonnes of luggage with me, but also untold, unfolded emotions. Many things together simultaneously were causing vibrations in my mind. I dont even remember the number of times my mind thought "Did i take a right decision to come here", seems funny. It was not even an hour and all these questions were arising, there was no sense of satisfaction, there was no excitement, all i had was tears rolling on my cheeks and a hand kerchief to wipe it off. I was frozen, both physically and mentally. The cold in D.C was too bad but frozen feelings were more painful than physical feeling of cold. I slowly started consoling myself, i spoke to myself, "Dude, this is a journey which makes you a complete man", life said "Welcome to all new world of learning"... Yes!!! it was a new world, millions of things to learn, thousands of things to do and explore. On my way to friends place, cars, parks, buildings seemed so exciting, but not as much as my parents smile was, not as much as my sisters fight was, not as much as my girl friends call was. The journey of my life to do something had begun, it had begun with an anticipation of achieving something impossible for normal people, it had begun with desire to prove those people who thought i am unfit to be called an achiever wrong, it had begun to explore and expand my knowledge, it also had begun with ray of hope in heart to learn new things to develop my home country, my India.
